
Coaching Skills Certificate
This is a 40 week course where you will learn a range of skills enabling you to confidently begin your career as a Life Coach. You can learn one-on-one or in a group. In both learning environments, your education will be highly tuned to your personal needs and desires for your career while including skills needed by every coach in any specialty. Successful completion of the course will depend on your willingness to put in the time and effort needed to master the material and actively demonstrate your progress through verbal and written assignments and assessments, as well as competent completion of all course projects. This course is a prerequisite for any of the other certificate programs offered here.
Each week, you will attend a live video meeting for 1.5-2 hours depending on the material for that week. There will be reading, writing, and viewing/listening assignments due prior to the next class which, depending on your reading and writing abilities, will take anywhere from 3-6 hours per week. You will also be expected to participate in and take the lead on projects that will help you develop skills needed to run and promote a successful coaching practice.
